Panviva Content Development: Let’s Meet the Team

As part of the Ready-Set-Go process, we created a Content Development Plan to document all of the content that needed to be created in Panviva. The next step is to break the content up into Panviva procedures and get them ready for use. To do that, we need to gather a team of individuals who will work together to write, organize and format the content to go into Panviva.

Here are the key players who make up the Content Development Team.

Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

The SMEs are the individuals who will provide the content that goes into Panviva. They are the ones who know the procedures, and can answer questions and provide clarity around processes.

Authors

The Authors are the individuals who will write the procedures to go into Panviva. They will work with the SMEs to ensure the content is accurate and complete. In some cases, the SME and Author can be the same person.

Editors

The Editors are the individuals who will edit the author’s procedures to ensure consistency in content and format. These are usually Panviva experts who can help format the procedures to match Panviva styles and guidelines.

Reviewers

The Reviewers are the individuals who will review the procedures to ensure nothing was missed by the Authors. There are always at least two review cycles for each procedure.

Approvers

The Approvers are the individuals who will approve the procedures for publication. They are the final eyes to confirm that the procedures are complete and accurate. Procedures are not marked complete without this approval.

End Users

The End Users are the individuals who will use Panviva as they perform and complete their daily tasks. They are the target audience for the procedures that are being developed. In some cases, End Users are brought onto the team to beta test the content before full launch.

It’s through the dedication and collaboration of the Content Development Team that this part of the process is efficient, and also verifies that content is usable and accurate. In Panviva, content development is what drives the success of the system, so this process is important in ensuring a successful adoption.
